Summer is here and in Alabama its super hot like 92 degrees even on a good day, so since I did a spring must haves which you guys really like it I thought I would do my Summer Must Haves so let’s get started! Side note everything is under $50 🙂
Accessories are a must and gold jewelry goes with any skin tone especially if you have a nice tan and your skin is popping yassss!
Also can’t go wrong with denim whether it’s a denim skirt or jeans. Denim is definitely a must have anytime of the year.
Khaki or olive green has really been popular lately and a nice little jumpsuit or cute top is perfect for those hot days.
You can never go wrong with a cute little sundress, which can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with flats or Nike slides for a really comfy look.
Winged eyeliner is a must for the summer and the E.L.F eyeliner is bomb dot com and for $1 you really can’t beat that!
Sunscreen is also important for obvious reasons. Protect your skin girl!
A good highlighter and bronzer will do wonders for your skin during the summer. You will be glowing
Neural eyes with fake lashes and a bright pop of color on the lips. The lip palette is from BH Cosemetics and I believe it’s only $28.
If you have oily skin like myself you know for a fact that oil blotting sheets are key in the summer because who wants to walk around looking greasy all day. Also a face spray such as the Mac fix plus (if your on a super tight budget you can try the Evian face spray $5.99 at target)
If you want your skin to be “on fleek” then coconut oil should definitely be your go to moisturizer, it’s not only good for keeping your skin nice and silky but it’s also good for your hair as well.
African black soap is a must for me. It literally strips my skin or all dirt and oil it leaves my skin feeling a bit dry but a really clean feeling.
Exfoliating in the summer is also a must so to get rid of the all the dead skin a face exfoliating brush in combination with a face cleanser is the way to go.
The neutragena oil free acne wash is great for those pesky little pimples. After a few uses you will definitely see a difference. Also the origins activated charcoal is another good cleanser for getting deep down and really cleaning the skin and getting rid of impurities, it’s kind of pricy (I believe it’s $36 but totally worth it)
Speaking of exfoliating you can’t forget about your lips to keep those lips nice and moist a lip exfoliator is your bff! Lush’s Mint Julep lip exfoliater is perfect. After exfoliating some sort of chap stick or lip cream like the EOS lip balm is needed to lock in the moisture.
