If you follow me on Facebook I told you that this post may be a late upload, well more like a next day upload. However, I’m totally in love with this new wig I bought from my local beauty supply for only $14.99. I bought it in a #2 which is a dark brown since that was the only color choice left. Although I prefer a natural black hair color the dark brown seemed to suit me quite well. What do you think?
This is the perfect bob for the summer if you are looking to experiment with a new hairstyle. Or if you want just want to ditch the 30 inch weave and give your neck some air *lol.* Now the website on the card says this wig is discontinued, but I did a little bit of research and found an exact replica of this wig that is currently on sale for $8.99 at Hair Sisters.
New Wig, Who Dis?
Its your basic synthetic wig. It comes with two straps in the back that keeps your wig snug, no clips or combs. It has tracks that are sown on to a breathable cap so that your scalp gets air also.
You can wash this hair even though it is synthetic. I recommend washing this hair in luke warm water with mild shampoo for about 5-10 minutes. Do not try to rub or scrunch the hair while you wash it, simply just let it sit in the water.
Add some conditioner for extra body and bounce. Afterwards just let it air dry for about an hour or so and the wig is good as new! I haven’t experienced any tangling with this wig only minimal shedding which is normal.
Also on the tag it says that the wig can be flat ironed up to 320 degrees, I haven’t tried it since it usually bounces back to its original state after I wash it.
I did play around with this wig a bit especially in the back to get this feathered look. Basically all I did was fluff it with my fingers and shook it a bit and that’s how I got it to look how it does now. It doesn’t come looking like this out of the package so you will have to play around with it get your desired look.
