It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a monthly favorites posts mainly because nothing really sparked my interest or screamed “Hey tell the world how great this product is.” However this month I was pleasantly surprised at how many products I’ve been loving. Especially when it comes to skin care.
My skin has been going wild lately, pimples EVERYWHERE. I’ve been drinking my water and minding my own business but my skin was still not having it. So I had no choice but to switch it up and now my skin is better than ever!
May Favorites feat. L’Oréal, Black Radiance + MORE!
This product was actually a recommendation from my best friend. She mentioned how great they worked for her so I thought I’d give them a try. I’ve been using them now for a little over three months and my hair and nails have been growing noticeable longer and stronger. Each serving contains 2500 mcg of biotin plus vitamin C and E. I take two a day (sometimes three, but don’t tell anyone.) Walgreens also has them on sale now. Buy one get one free!
Is everything! My skin is more so on the dry/combination side so I use this when it is a bit more dryer than normal. It leaves my skin looking and feeling more refreshed, brighter and supple. I use this toner both morning and night and my skin is loving it! Its alcohol free so it doesn’t leave my skin looking and feeling dry. I highly recommend this for anyone with dry skin.
Hydrating Rose oil with Aloe, Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid
If you saw last weeks post here I mentioned that I recently bought this from Ross. I have been using this product every single day since I’ve purchased it two weeks ago. I honestly don’t know where this product has been all my life! It gives such me such a nice glow. My skin feels moisturized, luminous and healthy overall and it’s only been two weeks!
Now I’ve only used this mask twice but in the two times I’ve used it I’ve seen a reduction in the amount of pimples on my face. When I applied it, almost immediately I could feel a pulling or sucking sensations. Like it was really sucking the dirt out of my skin. It contains avocado and green tea which I see suppose to draw out impurities and add moisture where you need it. It almost reminds me of the Aztec Indian healing clay mask just not as intense.
This is my go to foundation when I don’t want to go for a full beat, but I also want nice coverage. It’s medium coverage but you can build it up a bit. I wouldn’t say its full coverage though. It’s so nice and lightweight, but it does the job beautifully. My shade is the color brownie.
I’ve gone through about 4 bottles of this foundation that’s how much I love it. If you’re a woman of color looking for a great foundation that’s medium/buildable coverage at a great price ($4.99), then I highly recommend this one.
