First Impression: Dr. Wellness Skin Detox Kit

Lately I’ve just been super obsessed with skincare, hence all of the skin care and beauty posts I’ve put up lately. Bare with me guys I promise I will be putting out more diverse content as I’m not just a beauty blogger.

I recently purchase the Dr. Wellness Skin Detox Kit from Ross for only $6.99.This set includes a body scrub, face scrub and body wash (which I actually ended up going back to buy the full size version.) I found another kit listed on EBay for $19.99, however I personally wouldn’t pay that much for it to be completely honest. I suggest seeing if your local Ross store carries this brand first.

My first impression of the body and face scrub is that they work super well! The face scrub is a bit abrasive (think St.Ives), but I can tell you that my face has never felt more smooth in my entire life. At least as far as I can remember *lol.*

The body scrub is the same way, however I do like the roughness of the scrub, it makes me feel like it’s really exfoliating my skin and getting rid of all the icky stuff.

The shower gel, however was not what I expected at first. It didn’t lather up like I expected, but suprisingly I actually felt clean afterwards. So crazy right? It also claims to have anti bacterial properties that gives you a deep cleanse without irritating the skin. It also helps absorb odors while removing excess oil. I’m still trying it out so if you want an update leave a comment below.

What’s your favorite body scrub/shower gel duo?
